Lauren Conrad Goes From Failed Fashionista To A Best Selling Author

Move over Danielle Steele, there's a new sheriff in town. The Hills' Lauren Conrad's  first novel L.A. Candy, has topped the New York Times Best Seller List for two straight weeks. L.C. is ecstatic about her hit book and never thought this would happen for her.

"If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it. I am so honored that it is now a reality."

Lauren, none of us would have believed you would have a book on the NY Times Best Sellers list. In fact, I never thought you'd be able to
do anything more than doodle designs of dresses that you would like to poorly make.

    I am assuming the only other tomes on offer this week were ones by other annoying tweens. This has to be the result of slim pickings, it's just awful.

    Oh yes...lets not be happy for someone's success, that would be awful. I really don't get why people are so mean to this girl. As far as I can tell, she hasn't done anything wrong. Must be jealousy.

    LC has done well with the book, but the clock is ticking. Now that she's done with The Hills, she'll have to step things up in fashion or otherwise.

    Not a hater, but I'm all about the drama.
