You heard it right, the crazy one is leaving the Idol building. Paula Abdul went out the classy way by announcing her departure on Twitter.
With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon.
What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me.
I wonder if she's leaving because of Kara DioGuardi coming back to judge for another season? I don't think Paula could handle sharing the spotlight with another ho on the show. Oh Paula, I'm gonna miss watching Idol and wondering how many pills you popped before judging.

@pop-o-holic - Absolutely! She should take Amy Winehouse with her, too!
But I think the public and American Idol producers have grown weary of her antics and are seeking a new direction on the show. In a way, it was certainly a lil' fun to watch some of her stupid antics but the show will be somewhat more watchable without her there now.

No reason to watch Idol without Paula. I support her decision to leave, though. She was only make 1/4 what Ryan Seacrest was earning, and only 10% of what Simon was making. If that ain't sexism, I don't know what is.

I used to be a Paula fan back in the day. Hope she hops off the crazy train and lands well.
