Paula Abdul has announced that she will be hosting VH1 Divas.
Paula said, "This year's VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!"
The show will air live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music Howard Gilman Opera House in New York.
On Monday it was announced that Paula will no longer be appearing on Ugly Betty this season. I feel like I should remove the exclamation point from this headline because me thinks Paula's gonna be a has been again within one year. I want her on Idol or her own reality show or I don't want her around at all.
Vh1 Divas goes live on Sept 17th at 9 pm EST.

Good for Paula, but it seems like a demotion from her previous AI position - heading from a major over-the-air broadcast to a cable network.
I predict peeps will watch in large numbers initially to check out Paula on her new program. However, can she sustain those high ratings over time and.......speak coherently as a host?
