Abercrombie is trying to sue Beyonce over the name of her upcoming perfume called Sasha Fierce.
They sell a men's cologne called Fierce and believe Beyonce's 'Sasha Fierce' perfume will confuse consumers who are looking for their cologne.
The company said it has sold $190 million worth of Fierce since 2002 and Knowles' perfume plan "poses a likelihood of confusion" for consumers and could cost them sales. Abercrombie said its attorneys sent Knowles a cease-and-desist letter but she had not backed off.
It would make sense if she was naming her line the exact same as their cologne, but she's not. This smells like a reason to get their name in the papers and try to get some publicity by suing a major celebrity but I don't see it going anywhere.

Retarded! Ask most people on the streets and I guarantee most would not confuse Sasha Fierce with the Abercrombie perfume "Fierce" brand. I predict it won't make it past the preliminary litigation stages or even make it to trial at all!
