Chris Brown: Upset Oprah Doesn't Support Domestic Abusers

Chris Brown says that Oprah could have been "more helpful" after he brutally attacked Rihanna. In the newest issue of People magazine, the woman beater says he didn't like that Oprah dedicated an entire show to young female victims of domestic violence, aka "to all the Rihannas of the world."

Chris said:

"I commend Oprah on being like, 'This is a problem,' but it was a slap in my face. I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could have been more helpful, like, 'Okay, I'm going to help both of these people out.'"

Oprah Winfrey responded with:

"Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school but she takes domestic abuse very seriously. She hopes he gets the counseling he needs."

The only butt Chris should be kissing is Oprah's. No PR campaign is as effective as a segment with Ms. Aha Moment herself. Chris should be thankful Lady O dedicated a show to "the Rihannas of the world," cause a show on "the Chris Browns of the world" would have been anything but "more helpful" to his image.

fortunately for the world, chris is a black man which, here in america means he can pretty much do anything he wants and be forgiven. he could kill his ex-wife and her boyfriend or kill a bunch of dogs while fighting them illegally it doesnt matter because hes got some talent and all we really care about is being entertained! he isnt in movies so hollywood and its approval or lack or is of little importance to him and even if its was i'm pretty sure hollywoods memory is as short as chris' temper anyways... just look at all the pics that have hit the internet lately of chris with no shortage of hot young girls hanging all over him, doesnt look like hes running out of fans anytime soon...

The travesty is in taking sides when you don't know the facts which was very irresponsible on Oprah and Tyra's behalf. No one should hit no one. It's irresponsible to make a female think she can do whatever to a man and it's ok so let's get the facts before we judge Chris cause I got a feeling Rihanna aint innocent.

@ LEE LEE- Chris beat the shit out of her in public. It became a public scandal and therefore O has every right in the world to address it in the public eye. Good for O for saying what she said!! Chris deserves a lot more scorn than just from O!!

Chris is condemned for life. His career is over.He will get no second chances. Hollywood is very unforgiving. That's the breaks. May this be a lesson to anyone who ever loses their temper like this ever again.

    @ LeeLee,

Calling out people "publicly" is what Oprah does. She has a TALK SHOW! It is her forum to say whatever she wants to because she gets paid to give her opinion on various topics.

Just because Chris Brown performed for Oprah at her school in Africa, doesn't mean that she's automatically obligated in any way to say positive things about him whatsoever. Domestic violence is a callous and brutal act that should never be heaped with any praise anyways.

Self-entitlement much on Chris Brown's part?!

Oprah should not have insinuated herself into a personal matter on TV. She looked into the camera and told Rihanna to not go back to him because "if a man hits you once, he will do it again." She should have picked up the phone and made a PRIVATE CALL. You don't do that shit. You don't publically call people out and that's what she did. She didn't know what happened, and even if she thought she knew enough, she didn't need to publically judge Chris. And if she takes domestic violence so seriously, how come she didn't call out the other celebrity cases that transpired since Chris Brown was arrested? We'll see how seriously she takes it the next time Terrence Howard or Sean Penn are on her show...known domestic abusers.
