Paula Abdul is a dancer and former choreographer, so executing Ellen DeGeneres' signature moves that Ellen does on her talk show must have been easy for Paula.
Paula Abdul looked like she had a little too much fun as she shook her a*s and acted just like Ellen does. It was perfection. Paula is obviously bitter, but at least she gets us all to laugh about it.

Hilarious and accurate Paula imitation! This was less animosity and more of the irony of Paula imitating Ellen in jest than anything else in that clip, IMO. Just like SNL.
Why should Paula be bitter at Ellen anyway?
Her anger should be solely directed at FOX, which decided to go in a different direction by opening its coffers to apparently give Ellen a large payday.

From what I saw of the Diva show, Paula spent a lot of air time cracking jokes about American Idol. I wasn't thrilled with her host skills.

It does not surprise me about Paula's lack of hosting skills (refer to my previous entries on POTP about her, lol). Maybe she was doing the first show high on something(s)too. But I digress! Haha.
Anyway, she was probably masterful in headlining and commanding audiences at her own concerts back in the day, but that does not necessarily translate into one hosting their own TV show. Vh1 probably figured Paula's name has the high, starpower wattage necessary to bring over audiences in large numbers from Idol to watch Divas, despite her uneven appearances on TV over the years.
So I feel those factors outweighed everything else in Paula now hosting that show.

When is my high school crush on Paula gonna ware off? Man She can dance, even when its not her dance. I also like Ellen, but Paula is Hot, smart,and cool. Her hair definatly looks better brown. Paula your taste in clothes,definatly look better on you, than Ellens.But your stIll the Hotest cutie in my 39yr old mind.

Paula, you are boring and bitter. Its not Ellen's fault that she has better personality that you. You are not a bit funny, except when you are under the influence. I always though that your dancing sucks, I have seen better moves in the dance club. You are a reject from the 80's. Very distestful to make fun of someone as nice as Ellen. You are ridiculous. You should really go away quietly and lady like, you have once again reinforced my opinion of you. You are an airhead.
