Serena Williams: Temper Erupts in Foot Fault Freakout
Serena Williams was losing her U.S. Open game over the weekend when a referee fairly announced that Serena had a foot fault. Serena then lost it and told the little Asian referee, "I swear to God, I'm going to take this f*cking ball and shove it down your f*cking throat!" Serena actually said, "Did you hear me?" after that and threw in another "I swear to God" or two. DAYUM!!!!!
Today everyone's saying that Serena's lucky Kanye West acted the fool cause some attention has been lifted off of her. Perhaps. Hopefully she won't do this again. I don't even understand why Serena would even wanna threaten anyone like that. Shoving a ball down someone's throat sounds like a lot of work to me!

I think her outburst is much more justified than Kanye!! I love Serena...she rocks!

Tennis is such a precise sport, in which inch-by-inch decisions are made often times by the line judges. Coupled with the great endurance of players on the court, it can lead to friction with the judges if something doesn't palate with their satisfactions.
Tennis players seem to have those outbursts more than athletes in other sports.
As unacceptable as her words, Serena is well-known for being a down-to-earth person, with a gracious demeanor off the tennis court, so I am willing to believe she doesn't have this raging temper (as portrayed in the video) at all. Consequently, her John McEnroe-esque behavior was an isolated incident.
She will pay the $10,000 fine and move forward now. Don't envision a repeat of something like this ever again.
