Gone Too Far Episode 1 Premieres Tonight
DJ AM had completed filming an eight-episode drug documentary, Gone Too Far, for MTV before his tragic drug overdose. The network and Adam Goldstein's family didn't know whether or not they should air the footage, but Adam's family issued a statement, saying,
"Adam felt strongly that by doing this series... Helping people in their recovery was a huge part of Adam's life."
Adam would have partially died in vein if MTV did not air his series. He was a compassionate mentor and advocate for recovering addicts ever since he got sober. Gone Too Far's message is so much clearer in light of Adam's deadly relapse.
I've set my DVR and it's exciting to know that the world will get to know Adam, and not just for his talent.
RIP.

I see so many OD's in the hospitals I work at and it just makes me sick. God (or whomever higher being you believe in) didn't put you here on earth to ruin your body and mind with drugs. After his life was spared in the airplane accident, he still didn't cherish his life completely. Sad.
