Miley Cyrus Is A Bad Influence On Kids
Miley Cyrus claimed the #1 spot in a recent poll and it's in a category we would expect her to be in: Worst Celebrity Influence. She topped the list with 42% of the votes and Britney Spears came in 2nd place with only 19%.
It's moments like the one above when she performed with a stripper pole during the Teen Choice Awards, that put her on top of the list. Slutty Twitter pics and other photos around the web don't help the cause either. So congratulations Miley! You've finally won the award for what we all knew you were anyway - a horrible role model for kids.

Don't get me wrong, i like Miley's music, but sh is supposed to be setting a positive example for young girls. Her music isn't whats bad, it's how she dresses and what she does. I know if I were a mother I wouldn't want my child watching her dancing on a pole smh. I'm sure she is a nice person and I know it's hard being in the public eye, but if she wants to have a more grown up image she should quit Disney Channel. She can't be a good girl and a bad girl at the same time.

I think everyone is overreacting. I have a 9 year old that loves to sing and dance to "Smack That", its cute too. Most of you who read more into it are just looking for something to talk about. Most people should remember the media is the reason why young children can't be children anymore. Everything they do is critized. Everything in the world today is about sex. To sell a hamburger or now a Carl Jr's salad its all about sex. Girls feel they have to act like this to fit in. I feel that everytime a commercial with a girl half dressed and acting like a bimbo comes on it sets what women have been fighting, for back several years. Not all families are perfect, but society is the reason most families appear screwed up. So little girls & boys should be able to be little and have fun, and be cute and goofey. Miley and her family seem to be a better than most celebrity families. But i'm sure the media will try hard to ruin that just like ever other young rising star.

Miley is a major contributing factor to the dumbing-down of our culture, IMO. It was somewhat admirable that she quit Twitter, though.
