Gloriana Responsible for American Music Awards Upset
Some band many of us had never heard of, Gloriana, a country group won T-Mobile's Breakthrough Artist Award at the American Music Awards, beating out Lady Gaga and Keri Hilson.
Formed in 2008, Gloriana is composed of brothers Tom Gossin and Mike Gossin (vocals, guitar), Rachel Reinert (vocals tambourine), and Cheyenne Kimball (vocals, mandolin).
Gloriana's first single "Wild at Heart" was released in February 2009 and became a Top 20 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Their debut self titled disc was released on August 4th, 2009.
