I saw this one coming, did you? Michael Jackson‘s concert documentary, This Is It, scored the top spot at the box office this weekend, earning a five-day worldwide total of $101 million.

This Is It pulled in an estimated $21.3 million Friday-Sunday. It’s Michael’s loyal international fans that are driving revenue. As I witnessed myself, MJ is huge in Europe and around the world. Fans in Japan, the UK and Germany came out in droves to pay homage to one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

Sony announced today that This Is Not Done. This Is It’s theater run has been extended. Michael will continue to dance his a*s off on the big screen through Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m so thrilled for Michael! I knew he could do it. If you haven’t seen it, go check it out! The King of Pop is mesmerizing, to say the least.
