Chris Brown on Good Morning America: Interview Excerpts

Considering that Rihanna appeared on 20/20 where she got teary eyed and became a faux domestic violence advocate, I think Chris Brown should be able to give his two cents, too.

Chris Brown's career has been suffering since his Rihanna beatdown. Rihanna would hit Chris first and he's in counseling trying to get better. I've moved on, but the public hasn't. So Chris is here to try to provide some insight.

Quotes:

  • I was wrong for what I did and I would definitely say it was not something I look past or look over… something that was really, really touchy. And like I said I’m really, really sorry for what went down and what happened.
  • When people see me smiling and kind of nonchalantly giving answers… I’m human, really I’m like really hurting inside and… it really kind of is like devastating me.

I think Chris deserves to tell his side of the story after Rihanna's interview and I'm glad ABC is allowing him to do so. However, it's bullsh*t that three of Adam Lambert's performances have been canceled on ABC after his AMA performance.

If Chris has been given a second chance, why isn't Lambert?

I think that Chris Brown gets another chance and Adam Lambert doesn't because people are totally willing to accept the idea that a woman deserved to have the crap knocked out of her, while people are not willing to accept the idea that it is okay to be gay as heck in public.
