Carrie Underwood may be 'Little Miss Perfect,' but the woman I said Carrie Underwood is like, Natalie Portman, may be giving her a run for the good girl image, if you will. Both women make sure that they're not tabloid fodder and both women are grounded and driven. Natalie Portman proves this in the new issue of Marie Claire magazine.
Natalie says, "OK, so I didn't really go to any high school parties. And yeah, I didn't touch pot til I was in my 20s."
Natalie, 28, experimented only after she began attending Harvard University. "I didn't get flat-out drunk until I went to college. But I think that's a good thing in many ways."
Natalie was too focused to become a brunette version of Lindsay Lohan. "Work was like an all-you-can-eat buffet. And I was like, 'I'm hungry!" I tend to get overambitious with what I can do."
I just love this b*tch. I like to work a lot when I'm not getting laid. Well 'work' as in get wasted enough to hit on someone and get laid, but that's neither here nor there. Natalie is one of the few role models we have around today, and she's got the talent to back it up.
After hearing about 13 year-old Hope Witsell who hung herself after sending a boy she likes a topless photo, it really makes Rihanna, who said she feels sorry for any man whose girlfriend doesn't send him naked photos, seem even more irresponsible.
More Natalie Portmans and Carrie Underwoods, please!
