Adam Lambert: Oprah Interview Already Taped

Adam Lambert and Oprah taped their interview at Harpo Studios in Chicago on Wednesday.

The controversial and talented singer discussed Simon Cowell's announced departure from Idol and its possible ramifications for the show, what life was like for him both pre-Idol and after, and his controversial performance at the American Music Awards.

I knew it! Adam could not sit down with Lady O without talking about the American Music Awards! I don't even mind that. As long as Adam continues to get his shine, I don't care what he's talking about. Maybe one day he'll discuss his chapped lips or why he was recently seen with Ferras Alqaisi again.

Adam will perform "Whataya Want From Me" and Susan Boyle will also appear. Adam and Susan's episode airs Tuesday Jan. 19.
