Kanye West Not Invited to The Haiti Telethon!!
The self-proclaimed "voice of our generation" will be given no voice on this Friday's live broadcast of the Haiti telethon, organized by George Clooney.
The reason is not because George Clooney doesn't like black people: "After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it's just best that he does not participate."
Organizers don't want the focus of the broadcast to be shifted to one of Kanye's mantrums. "Kayne has to make everything about himself. He will do anything to steal the spotlight and, well, this night it's just not about him."
Kanye West has his own charity organization and he's pretty passionate about philanthropy; unfortunately he's also pretty passionate about acting out impulsively on live television programs.
Taylor Swift has also just joined the fundraiser, so the chances of Kanye being allowed to make one of the greatest impromptu telethon speeches of all time is now slim to none.
UPDATE: Kanye was invited to the telethon but did not respond to the invite
