It's always nice to see a celebrity let loose with a few drinks and make a fool out of themselves, so I'm seriously digging Mariah Carey. Yesterday I posted a video of Mariah Carey doing her drunken acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Tuesday, and she admitted last night that she was a little tipsy.

Mariah Carey said she ran into "Precious" director Lee Michaels, whom she hadn't seen in a while, and that's when the drinking began.

"We were celebrating and having little splashes, and I hadn’t eaten, and that's what it was. We were celebrating the movie and all the exciting stuff going on. There's a time for celebration and a time for not - but really technically, it's a party atmosphere. We had splashes of champagne. I love Lee, but he’s a bad influence."

I've never heard of anyone having "splashes" of champagne, or any other kind of drink. You're either getting your drink on, or you're not! If she only had "splashes," then how did she get so drunk? Blame it on the champagne enema.
