Taylor Momsen kind of sucks. She has bad hair extensions, raccoon makeup, and a lot of attitude. When asked about Haiti after the devastating earthquake, Taylor went on record saying she’s not really thinking about Haiti. Tacky. And generally speaking, she just doesn’t care about a lot of things, like being a role model. 

In Taylor’s defense, I would be saying some pretty ridiculous things if I were 16 years old and talking to the press, especially if I were in a bad mood. Thus far, Taylor seems to be a Courtney Love in training. I’m hoping she’ll get herself straightened out soon. Case in point, some of Taylor’s quotes from a recent interview:

On being a role model: “I don’t f***ing care. I didn’t get into this to be a role model. So I’m sorry if I’m influencing your kids in a way that you don’t like, but I can’t be responsible for their actions. I don’t care.”

On almost getting the role of Hannah Montana, she was one of the final three: “Honestly, if I’d have ended up as Hannah Montana, I don’t know if the show would have gone as well. I probably would have told them all to go f*** themselves by the time I hit 11.”

On her social circle: “I have, like, no friends my age.”

On wearing garters on a regular basis: “I like wearing garters. Apparently people think that’s a big deal, but my tights won’t stay up. So whatever you want to do with that information…”

On living life without privacy: “I mean, I’m 16 and I can’t get away with anything. My mother finds out everything. Other teenagers — they have lots of freedom!”
