Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Sue Tabloid Over 'Split' Story

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are suing British tabloid News of the World for falsely reporting that the couple were going to split.

The couple's lawyer, Keith Schilling, said Monday "We can confirm unequivocally ... that the allegations published by the News of the World are false as well as intrusive."

It was only yesterday when Brad Pitt and Angelina were caught sucking face from their box seats at the Super Bowl. If you can't release a sex tape to prove you're still with your partner, making out in public is the second most effective way to show everyone you're still banging.

Brangelina is often the subject of many rumors and they tend to stay quiet and keep living their lives. I'm proud of them for standing up this time and suing the idiots at News of the World. For some reason, this breakup rumor gained too much traction, forcing them to have public dates and suck each other down for the paparazzi just to prove everything's fine. They have a mini-army to raise and they just don't need the stress. Good for Brad and Angie!
