Jake Harris: Son Of Cornelia Maria Captain Phil Harris, Arrested For DUI
Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris whose father Captain Phil Harris passed away earlier this month, is currently in jail and being held on a $1,500 bond.
Police stopped Harris for driving erratically at approximately 9 p.m. He refused to take a Breathalyzer test and was being held on suspicion of DUI, hit and run, and driving with a suspended license which are all misdemeanors.
Poor Jake went out to drown his sorrows in a few beers and it landed him in the clink. Drinking doesn't make the pain go away, it just numbs it for a little while. If Captain Phil was still alive, he would have made Jake pay bail out of his own pocket and dragged him out by the nuts. That's how it should be done!

Hey chuck william dayhoff get your facts straight will you, it was josh not jake that went running up those steps to call the other owners of the boat, and it wasn't to be money grubbing, it was to inform them that the captain of the boat was down and 2 crew members where leaving the boat (understandable), it wasn't money gubbing it was responsible.

Brian you totally took what I was saying the wrong way. I lost my mother when I was 22 and spent plenty of nights drinking to try and forget what I was dealing with. It doesn't work. Trying to numb the pain just makes the situation worse.
Reading what people write on the net or in emails, can be taken the wrong way and come off a lot harsher than it's meant to be. This is perfect example.
*But I don't mind being called an asshole. :)

Gee people can't you all cut Jake some slack. His Dad is gone and he was entitled to dull the pain. I loved Capt Phil, watching him every week since the series began.
But seriously Jake remember what ya Pop told you! You will pay for your mistakes. Pick a jug and bring it home or a friends house where you can unwind and sleep it off to man. You guys work hard play hard, and greieve like a mother-------! It does help to remember the Good Times. My Pop died in 1983 and it's still raw and fresh! Love you Guys.
