There's so much crap going on in the world today and it's good to read a feel good story every once in a while. Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight have reconciled and spent time together in Venice, Italy with Brad Pitt and their kids.

The two have been estranged since 2001 when Angelina accused Jon of cheating on her mother Marcheline Bertrand and Jon questioned Angelina's mental stability just before she adopted Maddox. In an interview with Radar, Jon says he had Angelina have been in contact over the phone and through email for 'quite some time now' and have been working on a full reconciliation. Since Angelina was ready to hug and make up with daddy, it was time for him to meet his grandchildren.

"I've been waiting so long to hug my grandchildren and it was amazing, they are the most beautiful, loving kids you could imagine and I'm not just saying that because I'm their grandfather, they really are something special. It truly moved me to see how Angie is as a mom, I am so proud of her - she has so much love to give and to share with the children and with Brad."

Awwwww! I've got a warm, fuzzy feeling inside because these two are working on their differences and becoming a family again. Maybe that warm fuzzy feeling is the Taco Bell I ate last night, but this whole reconciliation with Jon and Angelina does put a smile on my face.
