Lady Gaga Turns Down 'We Are the World' Remake Recording Offer
Lady Gaga allegedly turned down Quincy Jones offer to appear on the "We Are the World" remake song. Proceeds from the song's sales will go to Haiti relief.
Who was missing from “We Are the World”? Lady Gaga.
“They literally begged her to come,” a source told me yesterday. “She turned them down. She didn’t get it.”
What was there for Lady Gaga to "get"? She may just be a really shy male-looking diva that doesn't wanna be around so many egos and bright lights unless she's wearing some ridiculous costume or various objects that cover up most of her face. However, it's worth mentioning that Gaga donated revenue from one of her concert tour stops as well as all the money from merchandise sold from her website on an entire, designated day. She has done her part to help Haiti and she's entitled to turn down any offer, even if turning down something related to one of the most devastating natural disasters in history makes her look like a bit of a "fame monster."
