The last thing you want when you go to prison is to have your teeth worked on by a prison dentist. Lil Wayne made sure he didn't have to go through the big house tooth doctor by undergoing 8 root canals on Tuesday. He was scheduled to go to prison on February 9 but asked for it to be delayed while he got some dental work done.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne underwent an 8-hour procedure to have his grill fixed, several tooth implants redone, more implants added and repair work done on his few remaining real teeth. He better make sure those diamonds are cemented tight so nobody steals 'em. Go hard or go home baby!

Lil Wayne is scheduled to go to prison on March 2nd for a 12-month luxury stay for a felony attempted gun possession charge.
