Mike Sorrentino, Snooki and Pauly D Discuss Hot Tub Sex

During various episodes of MTV's Jersey Shore, Mike Sorrentino, aka The Situation, was always trying to "creep on some guuurlz." He wanted to take various women back to the Jersey Shore house and "hook up" with them, if there was no grenade, of course.

The hot tub was one of the best spots in the house to get freaky so The View's Joy Behar asked: "There's a lot of sex on the show. Do you use condoms?"

Mike said, "I'm Italian... and I do use protection as well." Snooki and Pauly D also said they use condoms.

Behar followed up by asking if safe sex extends to the hot tub and Sherri Shepherd suggested it was unnecessary because "hot water kills all the sperm."

"It's really hot water," the Situation agreed. "It takes care of business."

Umm... If water lessens the effectiveness of condoms, then why do they say to use a WATER based lube with them, and not one based on oil or such? According to all posted info, including on most condom packages, WATER based lubes don't cause the condom to break down or loose it's effectiveness as others do. So why would being in the primary ingredient of the lube used on most cause it to be less effective, when it's been soaking in lube, that is mostly water in the first place in the package?

Your second point, is moderately right though... Hot water won't prevent the spread of a STD, but going against your point, one, it will slow such down, as not all viruses and bacteria can survive outside of a narrow temp range, until they take hold in a body. The typical 110 to 130 degree water in a hot tub will do a nice job of slowing the spread, not to mention the agitation and such will also influence the potential for such to spread... BUT, if you read the article again, you will notice they don't even comment on using the heat to prevent the spread of STDs, but instead using it to help prevent pregnancy by killing off all the sperm. Sperm are rather heat sensitive, that's why a man's body adjusts depending on temperatures to lower the testes, raise them, etc to adjust their temp. Keeping them close to the warm body is a sure way to boost your risk of infertility... The body is 98.6 at normal... A hot tub is hotter... The math leans to it being a hostile environment for the sperm.

I cant figure out who is more retarded, the she-heifer on the view who thinks hot water kills the sperm, or the idiot guido who agreed with her, not only does the water decrease the effectiveness of condoms, it will not stop the transmission of STD's. So No morons it will not 'take care of business'
