Solange Knowles Has Twitter 'Kanye Rant Moment' Over Taylor Swift
Solange Knowles took to her Twitter page to remind us of a few things: She's still alive, Kanye West doesn't like Taylor Swift, and she lives on planet Knowles where narcissism is king.
Beyonce was mentioned in the media as breaking the record for most wins by a female in one night at the Grammys, but Solange is upset that Taylor stole the spotlight?
The "other artist" was mentioned because Taylor's win was both undeserved and a major shock. Emphasis is always placed upon 'shockers' and 'upsets' just like the announcement that 10 films are nominated for Best Picture this year at the Oscars.
Beyonce dominates pop culture. No need to have "another kanye rant," Solange. Focus on your own career, hun. #STFU

I think everyone is being more than a little harsh here... Solange is just defending her big sister. She may be delusional or whatever, but that's how you SHOULD be in defense of your family. I wouldn't respect her at all if she just focused on her own career and just ignored issues surrounding her sister's.

Look, both women broke the record that night at the Grammys. Beyonce took home 6 Grammys--more that any female in the history of the Grammys and Taylor was the youngest musical artist ever to win the most "important" award of the night-Album of the Year. Thus Taylor's win is no more important than Beyonce's win and visa versa. People in the Beyonce camp really need to be careful when "defending" Beyonce because, people will take it the wrong way. They put so much importance on winning awards when the body of work in the most important part. Beyonce has and still is doing well with her career--she can't and will not win all the time in every catagory. The media is not going to announce or put alot of emphasis on every accomplishment. There just comes a time when a person has to be happy with what they have becuase, you can't have everything. Hey Solange, Other people besides Beyonce deserve awards. Nothing special about "Single Ladies" video, unless you happen to be a man who likes sexy over values and ladies. I would like to have a forum where I could rant and have people listen to me. My rant would be why Beyonce thinks she has to always show too much of her body no matter what she is wearing. Then a picture of her is shown sitting and her legs are crossed such as to show more than should be shown. I love Beyonce's music, but I would love to see her looking fiercely like a lady, leaving something to the imagination. Also Solange, people who think they have to have someone rant about them in the face of their opposition, needs to get confidence. In this case, I think it possibly you, Solange, that needs to understand your sister is wonderful. We all know it.
