VH1 is launching its new season of "Unplugged" with none other than American Idol alum Adam Lambert.

The hot rocker recorded his episode weeks ago. His "straight" keyboardist and tonsil hockey buddy Tommy Joe Ratliff can be seen behind him, sitting down with a guitar.

Vh1's writer was the only member of the press present at Adam's Unplugged taping, which airs March 10. I love it when Adam isn't going crazy with his performances... American Music Awards, cough. His stripped down performances were among his best on Idol.

Here's Glambert performing his new single "Sleepwalker" on the Tonight Show With Chinny Leno. I do not like this song on his album, but hot dayum, this man can perform! I must round up all my gays and watch him in concert when he begins his upcoming tour.
