Remember that scene in the original American Pie where Jason Biggs' character kept blowing his load too soon? The same thing has happened with Andrew Garcia, only he blew his load on the mic. And for all the world to see - on television at least.

It seems as though Andrew Garcia perfected Paula Abdul's "Straight Up," but he had nothing else straight up his sleeve. He sounded amazing while singing Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning" in front of Katy Perry and the judges in Los Angeles, but he has disappointed the judges ever since his second audition. 

The honeymoon phase is ovah and his creativity has dulled. He has peaked and it's sad because if only he had practiced dozens of songs that he performed and rearranged equally as impeccably as Paula Abdul's "Straight Up," he may have had a very bright future ahead. As of now, Andrew's bringing nothing but repetition to the table: soft vocals, a bit of soul to popular songs, and no range.

Maybe he will get it together in the nick of time, if he has much left, cause as of now it appears that his time is running out.
