Crystal Bowersox Says 'No' to American Idol Makeover

Crystal Bowesox has a strong sense of style. For starters, she has dreadlocks on a portion of her head and she's no Susan Boyle.

Unlike Susan, Crystal doesn't want anyone to change her. She turned down the standard American Idol makeover that the show gives its contestants.

Crystal has no intention of soliciting the advice of the wardrobe department. "It's not gonna happen," she said matter-of-factly. "I've been picking my own clothes so far and it stays that way. It doesn't change with the Top 12, not for me."
