Radar is reporting that Kate Gosselin will be a competitor on the ninth season of Dancing With the Stars. The official line-up will be announced tonight during the finale of "The Bachelor." Olympian Evan Lysacek has already said that he wants in.

Kate is a great mother and she will be practicing for the show near her Pennsylvania home instead of Los Angeles. DWTS is willing to accommodate her because they believe that she'll bring strong ratings to the show.

Although Kate's only a reality TV star, she's probably more of an A-lister than actual "celebrities" that may appear on this season's roster. DWTS always has competitors that we haven't heard of or cared about for almost a decade. Kate's an exceptional choice and I hope she lasts long in the competition. I can't picture this woman in anything skimpy, though. WTF are they going to dress her in?
