Music By Prudence Oscar Win Sparks Kanye West Moment

When producer Roger Ross Williams was accepting his award for Best Documentary Short at last night's Oscars, producer Elinor Burkett rushed the stage and took over the mic.

Once on stage, Elinor made it virtually impossible for Roger to get a word in. Everyone was stunned and it was some classic ghetto hood rat stuff courtesy of live television. After the show, Elinor was asked about why she "pulled a Kanye" and she said something about how the movie didn't turn out to be what she wanted it to be and etc. 

There's no excuse for what she did and it's stunning to see a grown a*s woman behave like an angry child who watches someone else get a piece of candy then decides to take that last piece for herself. Elinor has tried to explain herself, but the problem is - when you act a fool, people remember your bad behavior and not nearly as many will ever hear or be interested in your rebuttal.

Elinor, we hope it was worth it.
