'Behind the Scenes: The Oprah Show Final Season' Reality Show Coming Soon

Leave it to Lady O to milk the last season of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

After 24 years of showing everyone else how it's done, Oprah's daytime talk show is coming to an end next year as she launches a late night talk show and extends her brand in the form of "OWN," the Oprah Winfrey Network. Oprah's reality show and her late night gig will both air on her network.

“Oprah will introduce you to the Harpo family, the people she works with side by side everyday,” the news release states. Oprah’s Next Chapter was announced last week as a one-hour evening talk show in which she will interview guests from locations around the world.

I'm not in a researching mood, but I think people have to pay for the OWN channel and I personally don't see that happening any time soon. If people have to pay to watch Oprah on TV, I think her new venture's going to turn into a Howard Stern situation where he lost many fans after he moved Sirius satellite radio. With upcoming interviews like going one on one with John Edwards' mistress Rielle Hunter, Oprah will always be a major success and influence on pop culture, possibly only with a smaller audience.
