Bethenny Frankel: 'TV is Not Good For Kelly Bensimon's Mental Health'
Bethenny Frankel and just about everyone knows that Kelly Bensimon of the Real Housewives of New York City is severely mentally unstable and needs treatment. Being on a reality TV show and seeing just how demented you are has caused Kelly to blame everyone but herself for her own psychosis.
Bethenny said: "I really feel badly that she's trying to claw her way out of it with this 'bullying' thing."
"I honestly don't think this is the right place for her to be on television. I think she can't resist being on the show, but it's really not healthy for her. Frankly, if I'm not on the show again, that’ll make it better for her because me being on the show again is certainly not good for her health. But I've never seen anything like it -- and I really did grow up in a crazy town."
Frankel suspects Bensimon "wants to be infamous, rather than thinking about what actually is going on with her."
Adds Frankel: "I mean, it gives her a lot of attention, but I would never want that kind of attention. I don't think it's healthy."
Without Bethenny on the show, Kelly Bensimon will remain certifiably insane. Bethenny's just so over it now, and although Sonja Morgan is entertaining, the RHONYC wouldn't be the same without her.

My son's girlfriend worked for the PR firm that Kelly hired to promote her before Kelly got the housewife gig. Kelly watched the show (on tv shesaid she never saw the show)and she demanded that the PR firm get her hired for the show. She threatened to fire the firm if they couldn't get her on the Housewives. They pushed & pushed & finally got the spot that Kelly demanded !

That show will have problems going on without Bethanny, her sense of humor and greek choruslike commentary will sorely be missed. It will turn into a fake Countess with delusions of grandeur, Zill whose real personality was exposed with that horrid book of bad advice and amazongate threatening the number one rated reviewer under a fake name and general behind the scenes backstabbing isn't going to hold an audience, the rest with the exception of Kelly are entertaining enough, but with Kelly who can't seem to grasp what is going on around her, and lies saying any conversation or questioning of her behavior is bullying is just bizarre and only makes her seem even crazier than she is, and she is all sorts of crazy. Can't see this one bouncing back, Sonja is their best hope. I will miss the show though, perhaps more husband will help next season. It could turn into dreck very easily.

I couldn't agree more with her! Kelly is nuts but it makes for good TV. She is as wacky as they come! Kelly and Dinelle should get their own show...that would be ratings gold!
