Heidi Montag Hires Lawyer for Publicity Divorce

Heidi Montag hired an attorney to represent her in her fake divorce with Spencer Pratt.

Heidi's lawyer is Jodeane Farrell. Jodeane is setting up a meeting with Heidi and Spencer in two weeks. Both Heidi and Spencer want the divorce to be mediated, which means they will try to reach a property settlement privately and they will be divorced in six months, according to California law.

Heidi's lawyer is a longtime friend of the Montag family. Yet another hint that this break up is fake. She hopes to schedule a meeting with their accountant to go over assets and liabilities, if Spencer's on board for Jodaene to mediate the split.

And Farrell says ... so far things are "very amicable" between Heidi and Spencer. - And that line from TMZ is why I think this divorce is for publicity, or "because they're broke." The Smoking Gun website already gave hints that the split is fake. And we all know what a jerk Spencer is, he's being too quiet about all of this. Heidi has to file for divorce so the split story will seem more credible. Speidi is such a joke! They're in too deep.
