Kate Gosselin may be a nightmare to be married to or to dance with, but people are interested in her. Well, at least for the season premiere of Kate Plus 8, they were.

Kate Plus 8 premiered on Sunday night, pulling in 3.4 million viewers, that's nearly half a million more than the average number of people who watched the final episodes of Kate Plus 8.

Kate Plus 8 was followed Sunday night by another special, Inside Kate’s World, which pulled in a respectable 3 million viewers. The next episode of Kate Plus 8 will air July 11.  In the fall, TLC is launching a whole new show – Twist of Kate -- starring TV’s favorite reality mom. 

I hope that Kate will continue to bring in strong ratings just because Jon Gosselin sucks.
