Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Part 2 (Recap)

Bravo is proving that the best reason to watch any reality TV show is to tune into the reunion show. The episode begins with Jill Zarin apologizing for walking out of Part 1 of the reunion show. Bethenny Frankel gives more of an explanation about why she is so over Jill. Bethenny says: "[The show] gave you a wake up call... You always want everyone to like you and that made you more apologetic." Pretty much.

Jill wipes tears away and says "It's true," which pretty much sets the tone for Jill's entire appearance on the reunion. Jill has taken a "big big hit" in the media and she is trying to recover. She's a broken record with her apologies, but it's far too little too late. There are hours upon hours of footage that exemplify her reprehensible behavior and vicious insults.

What's so obvious about the reunion show is how over the entire season Bethenny Frankel is. She practically has a smug look on her face the entire time while the other women talk because she has her own show now and she clearly couldn't care less.

Jill apologizing incessantly to Bethenny is like an ex-boyfriend who cheated on you calling you up to apologize while you're having sex with someone else. Bethenny has moved on and it's time for Jill to accept it.

When Jill is confronted with Alex McCord's allegations that she didn't want the other housewives to film with Bethenny because she wanted to sabotage her show, Jill says that she's "the biggest cheerleader" for her friends, then she admits that she did tell the other women not to film with Bethenny! What kind of cheerleading is this?

Jill says "I was wrong," 3x, literally, and continues to look like the horrible human being that she is. She then says that she sent Bethenny flowers to apologize, which makes you wonder about the sincerity of her gesture considering that she mentions it on the reunion show.

The recap continues with Bethenny saying that Jill has "taken enough hits" when the host Andy asks her another question sent in from a fan. Jill then stands up and tries to walk out again.

Kelly Bensimon then says that she was a victim of systematic bullying. Bethenny asks Kelly what she means by "systematic bullying" and host Andy tells Bethenny that it means "continual bullying." Kelly then said, "As you can see, it's happening right now." LMAO. She's on a reunion show, but if you ask her a question "[systematic bullying] is "'happening right now.'"

Kelly also called Ramona's yacht a "hate boat" and claims that Bravo "forced" her to go on the trip. When the women say that Kelly wasn't being bullied, she walks off the set and the episode ends there.

In summary: This reunion show is such a mess! Thank god for Sonja Morgan, who walks out for a segment to talk about sex. Part 3 of the reunion looks great. Ramona goes off on Jill and Jill tries to force Bethenny to hug her, but I won't be satisfied with this show until someone punches Kelly Bensimon in the face and chokes her with her hair.
