Real Housewives of New York Reunion Part 3 - Recap

The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Part III begins with Kelly Bensimon saying, "I cannot tell you how horrified I am that I would allow you guys to attack me." And then she walks out and Bethenny Frankel says: "She just makes up whatever she wants to say. She's gonna tell me that she's an African-American Asian woman in a minute." Kelly continued to talk about her perspective of what went down before her "breakthrough not breakdown" on "scary island." Kelly said: "[Bethenny wasn't cooking, the sous chef was cooking for her." My head is spinning.

Sonja says that the women were trying to have fun but Kelly kept ruining it and Kelly fires back saying that Sonja was drinking a lot. Kelly also says that "[Ramona's] blood type is pinot grigio," which is hilarious, but Kelly still sucks.

Kelly says that the women should apologize to her and claims that Bethenny was screaming and yelling at her FOR NO REASON, then she asks Sonja, Alex, Ramona and Bethenny, "Are you guys so jealous, are you so hateful?"

Then we move onto Jill's cameo appearance at Ramona's trip: Sonja says that Jill didn't want to make up to Bethenny by flying in and showing up unannounced at Ramona's party considering that she lives a block away from Bethenny. Bethenny also says that Jill didn't need "a plane and a car and a camel" because she lives "A BLOCK AWAY!" Maybe the b*tch doesn't like to walk, okay?

Jill Zarin's pity party continues when she says "Ramona, thanks a lot for even asking me or Bobby if we even wanted a drink of water or the bathroom... Talk about mean girls, I know why [Kelly] left... Alex was the source of a lot of it." Jill then says that she has done NOTHING to Alex and later apologizes to Ramona.

Jill also says that being "kicked out" caused her to cry for three days, saying, "It was the most painful thing I ever experienced in my life. My husband was witness to it, it was humiliating and embarrassing." Jill has faced much more devastation than being asked to leave a trip and her husband should be there when she's embarrassed, he is her friggin husband of like 20 years afterall.

Kelly then says that Jill is hurtful for calling her crazy, THEN she insults the women in her next sentence, asking them if they're "in, like, 8th grade." Kelly also tells Bethenny, "I think it was beautiful what you did for Peta. I was really charmed that you would take off your clothes for them," and with that, I conclude my research. Kelly Bensimon has a raging lesbian crush on Bethenny Frankel. Her infinite level of obsession, all captured on film, is unprecedented in reality TV history.

When Kelly was on scary/ "poison island" she said that she can't imagine Jason Hoppy kissing Bethenny. Why would she want to? That is NOT how you speak about someone that you claim hates you and who wants to kill you, but I really don't understand anything related to Kelly's universe.

When Kelly is asked about being contradictory, she says women should celebrate who she is. She also adds, "See, when I'm able to speak, it's perfect." Kelly then calls the other women unpredictable, "which means they're dangerous," and etc. Jill then mocks Alex McCord's nude photos saying that she was "SPREAD EAGLE in the hallway of her husband's hotel." Once again, throwing Alex under the bus.

Kelly is so crazy, she almost made me forget. "Money Can't Buy You Class," but it can buy you an open marriage. The Countess basically admits that she and her ex-husband had an open marriage?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last, the women are all asked if they'll return and Bethenny, Jill, and Kelly say that they don't know. Jill then asks Bethenny if she can hug her and Jill says, "I wanna see your baby! I really miss you, you know I do. It's not bullshit Bethenny." In no real life situation should anyone stalk someone else like Jill stalks Bethenny. Jill made her bed but she refuses to lie in it. She killed it when she said that Alex "hates" her and she doesn't know if she could film with her. She makes herself look worse in her attempt to look better.

Jill is everything that is wrong with so many people who try to tear down others simply because they're jealous. What's even worse is that she refuses to acknowledge it and if Jill does apologize for something, she just repeats her vile behavior shortly thereafter. Saying Jill hates her at the end of the show reminded everyone of how much she sucks.

That being said, if Bethenny returns, I don't think we'll be seeing much of her. She is so over the show and she really doesn't need the show for anything. Money talks, though, and a good salary increase could bring her back. Also, as much as Kelly needs a psych ward, I think Bravo will bring her back. The show received its highest ratings because of her "breakthrough not breakdown."

I didn't watch the first season of this show and tuned into a few episodes from season 2, but I do believe that all of these chicks put together makes for a very interesting show, all. I highly recommend the Real Housewives of New York City, and in the meantime of season 4's debut, we'll get new episodes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Bam!
