Katy Perry: Topless and Confident

Katy Perry thinks that she has tamed Russell Brand. For those who are unfamiliar, Russell used to be a raging sex addict and he was really into drugs, then Ms. Perry came around and he got his act together and decided to settle down.

Katy tells Esquire: "He used to basically be a professional prostitute - now he's not. So he's an extremist which can be both good and bad. I always needed someone stronger than me. And I am, like, a f*cking strong elephant of a women. I say that hopefully in the humblest way I can."

I like Katy Perry, but Russell calmed down because he was ready to and he wanted to. A sex addict is going to put it in the nearest hole, e.g. Tiger Woods, until he or she gets tired of their destructive behavior and gets serious about making a change. Russell seems reformed and Katy is so happy with him. They're one of the cutest couples in Hollywood right now!

Katy also opens up about how she got Russell Brand to notice her - by throwing a bottle at him! Ladies, take notes.

On meeting Russell: "I was 25, 30 feet away from him. And I threw the bottle straight at him: hit him smack dab on the head. Can you imagine the horrible feeling he had, when he was used to getting everything he wanted? I was like, 'You've met your match, motherf*cker.' A week later we went on vacation in Thailand."

On sharing a roof with Russell: "I'm like, 'Oh my God, I am you. You are me.' Two divas in one house. It's like splitting the atom: it shouldn't happen."

On her popularity: "We are both larger than life. I think we are kind of cartoony. But I don't think that means we're not to be taken seriously."
