Once Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin split up, he began bashing the Palin family and started whoring himself out for his 15 minutes of fame. During an interview on The Early Show last fall, Levi claimed Sarah Palin referred to her son Trig, who was born with down syndrome, as retarded. He also claimed he could air out some of Sarah’s dirty laundry if he really wanted to hurt her.

He’s a douche and he’s trying to drop his range on the douchery list by publicly apologizing to Sarah Palin and her family for saying untruthful shiz about them to the media in a new interview with People magazine.

“Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true. I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

“So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion. I hope one day to restore your trust.”

I think he’s apologizing in hopes Bristol will go to court and decrease the amount of child support he’s suppose to pay. She also released her own statement on Tuesday saying “Part of co-parenting is creating healthy and honest relationships between the parents. Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it.”

Hopefully Levi grows up and becomes somewhat mature or else it’s going to be a b*tch for Bristol and the rest of the Palin family to deal with him for the next 18 years!
