Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's Tomboy Style Defended by Angelina Jolie
When you're so young that you can only form short sentences, wearing a pillowcase as a dress or making a shirt outta tinfoil sounds like a good idea. Boogers are also considered a healthy snack and getting covered in dirt is fun. But Angelina is still trying to convince everyone that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt truly knows that she's dressing butch and she "wants to be a boy," so Angie just goes along with it.
Angie's promoting her new movie Salt, and she told Reuters:
"I think she [Shiloh] is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting.
Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth. Society always has something to learn when it comes to the way we judge each other, label each other. We have far to go."
Angelina Jolie sounds like one of those parents who buys alcohol and parties with their kids cause they say they rather their brats keep the illegal activities in the house. I like that she seems like a chill mother, I just think she's full of sh*t by telling us that Shiloh is making "fascinating" choices. Shiloh doesn't even know WTF is going on! At 4 years old, Shiloh doesn't know why Angie keeps chopping off her hair and dressing her up like a man. One day she's going to ask her why, though, and I doubt she'll be impressed with the "You picked out your own clothes!" excuse.

I think angelina is so madly jealous of her own child because is more beautiful and getting so much attention when she was just a baby. remenber when she declares that baby shiloh was an amorphous ball without a personnality? what kind of mother says something like that!!!

She is a child who want to be like her brothers. My little sister was exactly the same way. She wanted to be like her twin brother in everyway when they were young. She dressed as a tomboy and our parents let her. Today my little sister is 22years old and is happily married.
Don't be so quick to judge children. They don't know what they want yet so just let them have their fun.

my mom never let me cut my hair, i had like religious cult hair. she finally let me cut and dye my hair in the 8th grade, and you know what i did to it? i cut it to about my ears, bleached the brown platinum white blonde, and dyed it pink and blue. i don't even like the color pink. she never let me paint my nails, when she did, they were always black, i knew she hated black. i wasn't allowed to wear makeup, when i was i wore real thick black eyeliner everyday. if kids aren't allowed to express themselves, when they get to an age where their parents aren't in control of them, they go crazy. dye their hair pink. i think shiloh just wants short hair and to play with dinosaurs and to dress like her brothers, and i think it's awesome that her mom lets her do that. that doesn't mean she's gay or has gender identity issues, it means she's a kid, and she doesn't know what gender identity is. she's playing dress up just let her have fun.

When my younger brother was 2 years old, he always said he was a girl and HATED wearing boy's clothes. His hair was grown out and he would have my mom paint his toenails bright red and he'd run around the house in her high heels. He never, ever played with action figures, only barbies and bratz. He would have me and my mom put makeup on him, his favorite was red lipstick. He would also request that we called him 'Nikki' instead of his real name. At a young age, you DO know what you want. Angelina is not forcing Shiloh into being a 'boy', she's just following what Shiloh is asking for. Nothing wrong with fascination. My brother will be 15 in 3 months, and he is a perfectly normal, straight boy. He acts like a boy, plays sports, and likes girls. He doesn't want to be a woman anymore, it's just how he was. She's obviously more open to her children's thoughts...Like any parent should be. This article pissed me off.

I'm jealous of Shiloh really, I mean if my mom were only half chill like angie my childhood life would've been much more fun. It took me 5 years to get a short haircut (becuase it's extremely hardwork to be running and trying to get your hair out of your face at the same time) and pants? PLEASE! I fought with my mom everyday just so she'd let me wear that one jeans I asked for christmas. I hate wearing dresses, I was a kid like Shiloh, my family confirmed it. I knew what I want. From what I've observed, most of these people making such a great fuss about this are those who were forced to dress like a "boy/girl" and coudln't do anything about it. Leave the kid alone, let's see after 20 years what she'll have to say about it. All I know is, I'd love to have a mom who could just let me be who I am.

This fake bitch has nothing to do with charity and kids. Its all for fame and publicity, for her own gain but she has managed to fool the sheeple pretty good playing the "saint". She is a top child trafficker. Her kids - all of them are subjects to abuse. We are so brainwashed that we've got to think what shes doing to Shiloh is perfectly normal. It isnt, idiots! She brainwashed her daughter into becoming a tranny/boy and u think of that as "cute"! U make me sick. How a sweet girl dressed properly turns overnight into a boy? How a 4 year old girl can "decide" that she wants to be a boy? Rings any bell, morons? Even smb with a half brain sees that smth is just not right. But who cares? We know what happens to those who care and know whats going on behind the curtain...

Are we seriously judging children now? Are we really putting them into boxes and categorizing CHILDREN? Give me a break, it's appalling!

@ Lieve,
I'm not apologizing for my use of the word butch. You're choosing to say how I use the term is offensive.
I don't aim for universal approval because someone will always be hypersensitive about various things a blogger says. Would you prefer that I copy and paste a quote about Angelina, saying, 'Shiloh's choices are fascinating, the end,' and censor my view to try to appease everyone?
Maybe you would, but I'm not going that route.
