Bravo Pays Real Housewives Only $3,000 Per Episode: 'Working For Them Is Like Slave Labor'

The 'Real Housewives' are taking notes from the Jersey Shore cast and want more money. A pal of one of the Housewife members tells Pop Eater that each cast member from the New York City Housewives receives only $3,000 to tape each episode, and don't receive a dime for doing the reunion specials. That's highway robbery!

"They are pissed that they only get paid $3,000 to tape each episode and are furious that they get paid nothing to tape the reunion episode. It's two full days of their lives with no lunch breaks and no pay. Everyone on the set is getting a paycheck except the stars. How can that be right?"

All of the 'Housewife' casts have been shafted in the paycheck department and the Atlanta girls made it clear during their reunion special they weren't going to start any fires if they aren't getting paid to do so, which made the show a complete dud. Bravo changed their tune when it came to the Real Housewives of New York City reunion and the girls delivered. It turned into a 3-episode special and Bravo got their highest ratings for the New York series ever.

The Jersey Housewives are taping their reunion special today and tomorrow and as one cast member puts it (it's probably Teresa Giudice), Bravo better pay up, or shut up.

"Working for them is like slave labor. They might be able to make us show up, but if they want us to put on a show they better pony up the cash."

I think they all deserve a pay raise, especially the NYC crew. It's expensive to keep up with the vaginal rejuvenation procedures and botox.
