Dr Frank Ryan's Accident May Have Been Caused By Texting While Driving
Plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan was killed after his Jeep went off of Pacific Coast Highway and rolled down a cliff Monday afternoon, and there may be reason to believe he was texting when the accident occured.
Frank's ex-girlfriend Charmaine Blake told People that Frank's family was told by investigators that the last Twitter message which he sent with a picture of his dog Jill over looking PCH, was what caused the wreck.
"He lived up in Malibu on a tiny street and he was texting while driving and he accidentally went over the cliff," Charmaine Blake says.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed Ryan was texting before the crash but investigators haven't officially determined the cause of the accident. A toxicology test was also performed to see if drugs or alcohol may have been a factor, but it normally takes eight weeks to get the results.
Lay off of the texting while driving folks!
