In the new issue of Vanity Fair, on sale Wednesday, Lady Gaga admits to "occasional" cocaine use, but discourages her fans from following her example.

When asked about her bad romance with nose candy, Gaga says, "I won't lie; it's occasional. And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple times a year. I don't want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way. I don't want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great."

It's probably a good idea to not follow Lady Gaga's example on most things. I mean, I'm a fan, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna start going pants-less in public or slowly turning myself into Madonna just to be like her. There are lots of things Lady G can pull off that the rest of us can't.

In the interview, Gaga goes on to describe her celibacy and "perpetual" loneliness, stating, "I'm lonely when I'm in relationships. It's my condition as an artist. I'm quite celibate now; I don't really get time to meet anyone. I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone, they're going to take my creativity from me through my vagina." Umm...OK. Gotta keep those thought thieves from stealing the ideas from your va-jay-jay. Makes perfect sense.

So, to re-cap, coke + keeping your legs closed = the Lady Gaga formula for success. I don't care what she says about being an individual and doing your own thing; millions of young girls are sure to start trying that method for themselves, leaving out the all-important talent and originality parts of the equation.

As usual, Gaga comes off a bit effed-up in this interview, but you have to admire her honesty, and at least she looks good on the cover. She's got kind of a hippie, Cher-in-the-early-70's vibe going on in this picture, but it works for her, and that's saying something, because she's queen of the two-faces. You never know what you're gonna get from the Gaga face from one day to the next. Sometimes she's perfectly doable and other times...yeah, not so much.
