Rihanna's New 'Rebelle Fleur' Tattoo Typo
Rihanna got a new tattoo earlier this week which reads 'Rebelle Fleur' which means 'rebellious flower'. Sorta. The new tat is in french and as Pop Eater points out, they word things a little differently in their language.
The music superstar's newest ink reads "rebelle fleur," but someone forgot to tell the 'Rude Boy' singer that in French, adjectives typically follow the nouns they modify. To translate as "rebel flower," which we assume is what she intended, that tattoo should read "fleur rebelle."
It's a good thing you can't really screw up a simple gun tattoo! If you're going to get a tattoo in a different language, you need to do serious research and find out what it means and the corrects pelling. Rihanna's not the first to have a screwed up tat, and she's not gonna be the last. It happens, and I still think it's cute even if it's f*cked up.

See, this is why people shouldn't get tattoos on their bodies in languages they can't even speak.

Another reason she should be dating a Quebecker.
