Teresa Giudice wants us to believe that she's changed her ways and she's no longer a frivolous spender. She had her house put in foreclosure, then she went on a $60k shopping spree, all the while most of her personal crap was put up for auction.

She can still be seen wearing nice jewelry, though, and when questioned about it, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star claimed that it's all fake. Radar obtained a transcript of Teresa's court hearing in February 2010. Dayum, Radar is the new TMZ, baby! Teresa said, “My jewelry got stolen a couple years ago at our house in Lincoln Park…we had a break-in. So unfortunately, a lot of – all my jewelry got stolen there."

As far as the jewelry Teresa is seen in now? She says “It’s all costume jewelry… and if you look at what I wear, it’s all costume jewelry." When asked how much the insurance company paid her for the loss, she said, “like 20?... yeah.”

“You had a claim here much greater. It was like 120,000,” the trustee lawyer probed. “Well, I mean, you know, when you get estimates from jewelers, they always put it for more than what it is,” Teresa said.

I don't believe Teresa or Joe, but I still like them. They're idiots and they're paying for their mistakes now. According to the transcript, the Giudices claimed they made $598 in 2007 and $575 in 2008. Somehow they've ended up $11 million in debt.
