Emma Watson: Twilight is 'Selling Sex'
Emma Watson had some harsh words for the Twilight franchise yesterday, accusing the movies of cashing in on the sex appeal of their stars.
"Harry Potter is not Twilight, you know, we're not selling sex," Emma said in an interview.
True, a big part of Twilight's popularity comes from the fact that its male stars are allergic to shirts, but its hard to accuse a movie of selling sex when, like, every character in it is a virgin. And if she's accusing the stars of being too sexed-up in their off-screen lives, let's not forget that Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, got fully naked while performing in a play in London last year.
Sounds like Emma's just a little bitter that her big make-out scene in the upcoming Potter film will be with a pasty ginger instead of with this guy.
And speaking of selling sex, how about the look in Hermione's eyes in the picture above? She can wave my wand any day!

Emma is spot-on. Twilight IS selling sex ( a chaste version of it & the "saga's" readers were pssied they didn't get some sex scenes in the last book, all they got was a baby that was born with teeth & named friggin' Renesmee). And there is NOTHING in the books/movies except how to get a man! Didn't Stephen King say it was about sex and longing in the books? I believe he did.

Emma is totally right. Twilight sells sex.
And besides, harry potter is thousand times better than twilight.
HP talks about friendship, courage and all those important things that don't exist in twilight. Just sex and kissing, wich is okay, but...something more interesting?
