At first this story seemed too good to be true. Now it's beginning to look like it might have actually happened. It was reported on Wednesday night that Lindsay Lohan hit a baby stroller (with a baby in it!!!!) while driving her Maserati, just days after getting her driving privileges back.

Nothing came of the alleged hit-and-run and it started to look like an attempt by the paparazzi, or the haters, or someone, to sh*t on Linds while she was down and land her a*s back behind bars. More eye-witnesses came forward over the weekend, though, stating that they saw the incident firsthand and, in some cases, even tried to confront LiLo and keep her from taking off.

"There was a woman pushing a kid in a stroller, maybe a two or three year old, crossing the street," one witness told Radar Online. "Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. She pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going." The witness goes on to describe how he followed Lindsay, but she tried to lose him by "driving like crazy...blowing stop signs and stuff."

Another witness backs up the story and claims he confronted Linds after the incident. "I pulled up to Lindsay after I saw her knock the stroller," the second witness says. "I said, 'Whoa, what the f*ck are you doing?'" He says Lindsay replied, "Well, I saw them but the didn't get out of the way." Yeah! Get out of the way, babies! Lindsay has her license back!

Now, this is still LA and a lot of these "witnesses" could just be aspiring paps or former Big Brother contestants or other varieties fame whores just looking for their 15 minutes. Even so, an investigation is said to be in the works and we could being seeing Lindsay rockin' the county-orange jumpsuit again even sooner than we thought.
