Courtney Cox and David Arquette Went Months Without Sex, May Have had an 'Open Marriage'

There's a lot of weird sh!t swirling around the recently announced Courtney Cox/David Arquette split, which makes sense because they're two weird @ss people. Unfortunately, all the crazy rumors can't be true and it's hard to sift through the bullsh!t and figure out what's real. Lucky for you, as always, we're here to help.

Courtney Cox and David Arquette

First there was the rumor that Cox and Arquette had an 'open marriage,' which basically just means they cheated on each other all the time, but it was OK, because they had a weird hippie name for it. Normally, I'd believe that with these two, since, like I said, the Cox-Arquettes are a couple of freakshows, but the source here is some anonymous dude who works on the set of Courtney's show Cougar Town, so I'm calling shenanigans.

The other rumor is that the couple hadn't had sex for months before their split-up. This one's a lot more believable, not only because that's probably the case with most divorced couples, but also because this one comes from David Arquette, himself. Yes, in a show of pure class, David called The Howard Stern Show a few hours ago to reveal way too much about the break-up and his marriage to Courtney.

According to David, he and Courtney hadn't done it in 4 months, he's already banged a rebound chick, and Courtney initiated the separation because she was "tired of being (his) mother." Hmmm...I'm kinda with Courtney on that last part. If you're the kind of dude who calls Howard Stern to bag on your wife of 11 years the day after the two of you split, you probably have some work to do in the maturity department.

Well, here's hoping Courtney fires back. This couple may have been boring when they were together, but they're both a little nuts, so the breakup could be fun.
