Maci Bookout and Bristol Palin Text Each Other

Bristol Palin and Maci Bookout of MTV's "Teen Mom" are friends. Bristol said that she has "the same situation" as Maci. Bristol first met Maci this summer where, says Bristol, “We talked about experiences we’ve shared.”

Months later, the teens are still keeping in close contact. “The other day, I saw an episode of Teen Mom, and then I texted her, saying, ‘Oh my gosh, I totally went through that exact same thing!’ The show doesn’t glamorize teen pregnancy; it’s the raw truth [of ] how difficult it really is.”

It's cool that they can relate to being in the same predicament. As Maci points out, her friends don't have the same responsibilities that she does, so it' s hard. On last week's episode of Teen Mom, Maci called her baby daddy so that her son Bentley could see him. Maci said she has to put her son's best interest before her preferences. Very mature of her. Bristol wasn't allowing Levi Johnston to see Tripp for a while either.

I'm so glad that I'm not in that pickle! I watch my friends who got married young get divorced, then there's those who had kids and they have to keep some jerk in their life because he fathered their child. If I had to see some of my exes on a regular basis, let alone they'd have their random hoes around, I'd probably wanna pull an Amber Portwood. I can't imagine how annoying that is, plus it's unsafe to have a bunch of random strangers around your kids.

I think Bristol and Maci have good baby daddies in common too. Levi adores his son, and Ryan is coming around for the sake of Bentley.
