There's personal drama in Miley Cyrus land! Her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish have filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage.

The couple released a statement to People magazine which said: "As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

The couple, who has five children including Miley, filed divorce papers in Tennessee today citing irreconcilable differences. They've all proven to be a strong family, so I'm sure they'll slide through this like butter.
