Lady Gaga Plagiarized "Born This Way"?!

Lady Gaga announced that her upcoming album would be called "Born This Way" when she accepted her MTV video music award in a meat dress last year. To keep the hype going, she posted tweet after tweet after tweet about her new record, even going naked just to remind us that it's on its way. She even called her new music "the greatest of this decade."

But it sounds like Gaga has stolen some lyrics and the theme for her "Born This Way" from a Motown artist named Valentino. "I Was Born This Way" was released in 1975. It's the first official song about coming out and it was re-recorded and released by Carl Bean as a disco hit.

Gaga's lyrics are very similar to that of Valentino's, and let's not forget that both songs share nearly identical titles.

Gaga cites that she's the sole songwriter of "Born This Way," because you know this chick has an ego the size of, ya know, something like really huge and big and stuff. The woman dresses up and behaves like she's a freakin' bot! Although Gaga is well respected and multi-talented, she doesn't believe in taking breaks. She drops her albums within months instead of years and she's on tour every day of her life. If she gave herself some time, she'd generate her own ideas.

I would also love to find out what kind of activism, if any, Gaga was involved in before becoming iconic. I feel like she's using the gays only to have more fans and maintain her superstar status. Yes I did.

I 100% agree with your article. Lady gaga has an ego probably the size of the universe. Maybe one day she will see some sense, but till then, she is the most unoriginal celebrity out there, copying off anyone and anything she can get her hands on. The whole concept of "Lady Gaga" is completely ridiculous

and she is using the LGBT community, not because she really cares about them, but to garner a strong backing/ support system against the people that are able to see some sense, since we all know how worked up and dramatic the gay community can get.

    Keep fighting the good fight

If I am not called "jealous" on a daily basis than I am failing as a gossip blogger.

Truth be told, I am one of the least jealous people that you could ever meet. I want everyone to excel and be happy, but naturally whenever I call someone out, I must be "jealous."

I don't go by my real name on this site nor do I post a photo of myself. I cherish my anonymity and I would never want to trade places with Gaga cause she's a world icon. To claim that I'm jealous of a singer-songwriter because I report a story that isn't positive makes no sense at all but remains very typical.

i don't think you have to be jealous to point out that Lady Gaga is not as innovative or as original as some people think....she's not a God people, lol, it IS ok to criticise her-and I would say I like her music, but if she's not original then she's not being original.
