Gabriel Aubry: "Don't Call My Baby Black!"
What a catch Gabriel Aubry is. How did Halle Berry ever let this broke-@ss, hippie-haired bigot get away?
It's bad enough that Gabriel reportedly hurled racist insults at his baby mama, now TMZ is reporting that Gabe has a problem with the race of the actual baby...aka, his friggin' daughter! Apparently, Aubry would become upset whenever there was public mention of two year-old Nahla's mixed ethnicity, even going so far as to demand a retraction whenever a newspaper or magazine would refer to the little girl as "black."
Naturally, Prince Charming declined to comment on this latest allegation.

Halle Berry sounds like someone who is still unsettled regarding her own race/ethnicity/heritage and place in the world. She has forever preached about her own biracial status and how she sees that as more and more positive as she matured. I don't know if that stance was out of respect for her white mother or what but I find it curious how she positions herself in whatever way she finds advantageous at the time. Years ago she described how her mother stood her in front of the mirror and asked her to describe what she saw; Halle claims she responded she saw herself as a black woman. Her mother told her that regardless of her clearly caucasian features, this is also how the world saw Halle based on her dark skin and that she should grow comfortable in that skin. Fast forward to today and we see that Halle has had several relationships with men other than African-American; per Halle, Gabriel Aubry was just a perfect partner and Dad for she and Nahla until they decided to separate. He's a bigot because he doesn't want his daughter, who does have some black heritage, being called black. As if there is something wrong with her being called black, as if there is something wrong with being black. If he didn't have a problem with race he wouldn't care.

How is he a bigot? Surely simple maths ascertains that the child is only a quarter black and three quarters white,therefore she is white!

Actually your also wrong, there is only one race and that is the human race. The other differences people possess are based on their ancestors ethnicities, and are characteristics that have been evolved over time due the environments they inhabited. Also, who decided that you have to be 3/4 african blood to be called black?? I'm pretty sure you are whatever your make ethnic make-up is: if you are a quarter black, quarter white, and half hispanic do you fall in an other category cause you havent reached a 3/4 blood line? Ya, I dont think so....

i'm black, and i have to side with him. how can nahla be called a black person when her FATHER is a white man? that's crazy! black africans are a legitimate race of people just like europeans. i don't think just anyone should be catagorized as a black person. this ain't slavery or jim crow!!! you can only be called a person of black african descent if you have at least 3/4 african blood in you. the rest is a lie and a sociopolitical power play!
